Our client is a renowned American ‘Fine Dining’ Restaurant Chain with a growing presence in Asia. We are seeking a professional opening General Manager for their soon to open establishment situated within the most prestigious address within the commercial and tourist district of Shanghai. The development will have a total of 400 seats including; 10 private rooms, a wine tasting room and cigar lounge.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, stable individual who has the ability to; open, run, and control the concept which will entail overseeing a workforce of over 100 individuals from Shanghai and around the world.
The ideal candidate will be extremely “hands on” be continually energetic, systematic and maintain excellent customer and staff relations and be a natural leader.
The successful individual will have likely risen through the ranks of well-established fine dinning restaurant, hotel or club and have a solid time served food and beverage knowledge.
An excellent salary will be offered to the right candidate (US$ 7 – 9 K per month) along with excellent bonus schemes, medical Insurance and long-term career development prospects. The selected candidate will be expected to undertake training in both Hong Kong and the USA.
