Our client is the owner and operator of western restaurants in Vietnam and Thailand, they are a backed by a private investment firm. To date they have 6 full service western restaurants in Vietnam with a view to doubling this number within the next 2 years. The concepts include; modern French/Vietnamese cafes, Italian and Steak house restaurants.
We are looking for an individual to oversee the food production and product development for all stores, this will include hands on shifts in each of the outlets to ensure the quality is achieved and maintained. The role will report to the corporate executive chef who is based in the Central Kitchen which also encompasses a first class bakery.
We are looking for a young up and coming chef that is currently heading up the kitchens of an upscale and busy café style concept in a leading city such as Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto, London, etc… The ideal candidate will be creative and innovative, he/she will be excited by developing new recipes and working with different local ingredients. In addition the chef must be able and willing to develop a team through training and development – a patient disposition is important in this respect
The Vietnam culinary scene is developing extremely quickly and this is a golden opportunity for a young person to make a name for themselves on this culinary stage.
