The client is one of the worlds’ largest financial institutions, their head office is situated in Hong Kong and employs over 4000 executives in the building. The catering facilities will soon undergo a revamp with renovations to the kitchens, new restaurants, 3 executive fine dining rooms and busy event catering.

We are looking for an Executive Chef that can oversee the large-scale production of a 2,000+ meals per day operation with a team of over 50 chefs and maintain an interesting, creative and consistent offer to a very discerning customer.

Ideally the Executive Chef will have a proven track record in high volume catering operations such as convention centers, central kitchens, airlines or large scale hotels with multiple outlets and busy banqueting facilities. The ideal candidate will be creative yet very disciplined in their approach, running a very tight ship in terms of costing and menu engineering and a strong leader. The team is predominantly local and it would be advantageous to have prior experience in Hong Kong, Macau or China where the chef will have gained an understanding of the local culture and working practices. We would consider an Executive Sous Chef looking for their first step up if they are in charge of a very large operation.

This is a LOCAL position with a base salary in the range of HK$ 75K per month (Neg), 5 day working week, medical plan, pension and performance based bonus, school fees and house will NOT be paid.
