Our client is the owner and operator of western restaurants in Vietnam. To date they have 6 full service western restaurants in downtown Ho Chi Minh. The short-term goal of the company is to double the number of outlets within the next 2 years and at the same time develop and streamline the operations of the existing restaurants.
We are looking for an individual to head up the existing company and drive the future expansion. The Director of Operations will report to the CEO and will be responsible for the ongoing efficiency of the business.
He/she will maintain control of diverse business operations and will be an experienced and efficient leader, the ideal candidate will be a creative visionary and be able to instill a personality into the restaurants so that guests can experience this.
We are looking for candidate that is a specialist in Food & Beverage operational management on multiple restaurant outlet scale. He/she should have a proven track record in opening and overseeing restaurants in multicultural cities in Asia. The ideal candidate will have a background in stand alone restaurants Vs. hotels, owning and operating their own business in the past would be a distinct advantage.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction, delivering revenue and profit growth and developing the outlet managers to sustain it. Providing operational expertise and project management skills to support the effort of various company initiatives. Develop marketing, advertising and sales strategies plus developing a pricing structure.
The ideal candidate will currently be a Dir of Ops or General Manager of a group of stand alone restaurants in a leading Asian city. The client is offering a competitive salary in the range of US$6K per month , plus some expat benefits and share options.
