Our client is one of the worlds leading operators of Casinos and Integrated resorts, we are looking for a Japanese Executive Chef for one of their most prestigious restaurants within the group, based in a dynamic and rapidly expanding, leading city in Asia.

The restaurant in question has approximately 60 seats, serves modern Japanese cuisine and has been awarded 2 Michelin stars by the Michelin Guide. We are looking for a Japanese superstar that has experience in a Michelin star environment and has a strong understanding of Michelin cuisine guidelines.

The idea chef will have a mixture of hotel and standalone restaurant experience, he will have a contemporary approach to his Japanese cuisine, presentation and flavor balance will be of the highest levels and his communication and interpersonal skills will be second to none.

The candidate must have good English, an outgoing personality and have the ability to host guest chefs for collaborations and special events at the restaurant and at other establishments on an international level.

Requirements:
Proven track record in 5-star Hotel operations
Must speak English and Japanese
Experience in Sushi, Omakase, Kaiseki, Teppanyaki style cooking
Experience with handling world class Japanese ingredients
Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
Track record in Michelin star working environment

This is an expatriate position with a base salary in the range of US$ 10K per month (Neg) plus housing allowance, travel allowance and other benefits.
