Our client is a rapidly expanding restaurant group with 8 restaurants in prominent locations in the cosmopolitan city. Their flagship concept incorporates 150 seat contemporary steak house, 50 seat bar and 25 seat private dining venue.
We are looking for a young up and coming hands on chef that is looking to make a name for themselves on the culinary stage of Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be the #2 in a high profile and busy eatery, looking for their first head chef role and with ‘something to prove’. He/she should be creative and demonstrate flair with their food, yet understand how to engineer a menu and maintain reasonable food costs while keeping wastage in check.
Candidates will likely be currently working in a high profile American/European restaurant in gateway city such as New York, London, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong etc…
The client may consider a semi expat position for the right person and the base salary should be in the region of HK$ 45 – 50K per month. Interested chefs should send a CV in confidence.
